Steven
Kunnen
Senior scientist
Dr. Steven Kunnen (M) is senior scientist and he obtained his PhD from Leiden University Medical Center studying pathophysiology of polycystic kidney disease using transcriptomics approaches. His expertise during his postdoc was on co-regulated gene network analysis and integration of co-regulation in interactive user-friendly software application for interpretation of toxicogenomics data.

Hugo
van Kessel
Scientist
Hugo van Kessel (M) is about to finish his PhD at Leiden University in the field of mechanisms of kidney toxicity. His expertise during his PhD was on co-regulated gene network analysis and integration of co-regulation in interactive user-friendly software application for interpretation of toxicogenomics data.

Giulia
Callegaro
Assistant professor
Dr. Giulia Callegaro (F) holds a PhD in biology (in vitro toxicology) from the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy). She currently is assistant professor at the division of Cell Systems and Drug Safety at Leiden University. She is applying her expertise on gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) to support mechanistic understanding of chemical-induced adverse outcomes. She is in charge of developing and
supporting state-of-the-art interactive bioinformatics tools for chemical safety assessment, including TXG-MAPr tools.

Bob
van de Water
Professor
Prof. dr. Bob van de Water (M) is head of the department of Cell Systems and Drug Safety at Leiden University. He has ample experience in molecular mechanisms of toxicity, applying in particular in vitro 2D and 3D approaches in combination with toxicogenomics and functional genomics strategies. One focal
point for his group has been the deployment of high-throughput methodologies in AOP-based toxicity testing strategies. His group has developed integrated high-throughput targeted transcriptomics analysis to derive MoA information and assess variability in cellular stress response activation, enhanced by web-based methods for gene co-expression network analysis based on large toxicogenomics datasets.
